Our sweet boy,
14 months snuck up on us, or maybe we were just hoping time would slow down and this month wouldn't zip here so soon! You are jabbering ALL the time! You have gotten to be much more social; in that you like going to Sunday School, MOPS, and any other time someone watches you! You are SO helpful, you love to pick up/clean up toys/clothes/pretty much anything lying around. Especially when you are done with something you are so very good about handing it to someone.  You continue to be our BIG eater, although your weight doesn't suggest it. You love pretty much anything-- even though at the end of this month you began to get 4 more teeth in which made you a little pickier than usual. Understandable though! You and your brother play together SO much more and friendlier! Sharing is becoming a popular and accepted word in the Weather's household these days as well as wrestling! Were so proud of you boys!

You are Mr. Personality, you love to smile at people, wave, be shy, and squeal when you love something. You love walking around the house with your lovie/blanket/objects on your head... it's hilarious! You are still a huge fan of sleeping-- when it's time you have lovie, paci, and want milk as you wave bye bye and head for your room. 8 o'clock on the dot most nights if were home. You are SO sweet and give the most precious hugs and kisses, mostly reserved for yours truly and your Daddy-- which we cherish every one! You continue to be fearless in every way-- You have a go-getter attitude that keeps your Momma on edge! You are starting to feed yourself with utensils and do a very good job! When you run you love to get your left arm swinging back and forth.

You are trying to say LOTS of words these days, only your Mom and Dad and sometimes brother can understand what you mean. Your favorite words, Mama, Daddy, Woof Woof, Choo-Choo (real softly), Yes, and No. You do have your moments of strong will and slight tantrums-- if told "no" you will stomp your feet really fast and throw your head back and whine... Oh dear! ;)
You still let us rock and sing you to sleep at night. It may not be for long, but another thing to treasure. You love to stick your tongue out. You love to point to things you see and jabber as if to say what you see. You love to be outside!
You had your first allergic reaction and from there it became a dry spot that covered your eyes and nose. Poor sweet boy-- you were such a trooper.

You LOVE to laugh, explore, wrestle and be outside! We are so thankful for you Jackson Paul! You are a gift! We continue to pray for the boy your are becoming and the man you we eventually be! May the Lord bless you sweet boy in everything you do! We LOVE YOU Pookie bear!

Much love,

Mom, Dad, & Logan

To Houston we go....

September 24-26th, 2012

This past week we headed off to Houston to enjoy a little getaway while Daddy had to work.  We always enjoy getting to go on a trip with Daddy, especially because it means more time with him and not away from him! We left Monday around 930-- Jackson's naptime and got to Houston around 2. We had lunch together and then dropped JD off at work and we hit the mall! That is one thing I love about Houston, when we go for a few days is that they have some awesome mall kids play areas. We ended up going to Memorial Mall where they have a huge, enclosed castle-- I love it most of all because there is a security guard that stands outside the play area and makes sure no kids leave without their parents.
Logan quickly made friends with a sister and brother duo and they became Jake and the Neverland Pirate crew... he was SOO excited he ran up to me with the biggest smile to tell me he was part of the crew. L.O.V.E.D it.
Can you guess what he is going to be for Halloween?

Jackson getting to ride on the suitcase.

Logan used to do this when he was really little-- as seen above... he has gotten so much bigger!!

Having fun in the hotel room!!

On Tuesday we hit up the aquarium in the morning!

I had my camera on the wrong setting and to get it to the right one it just didn't work out. These two boys are too quick for me to sit and do that!

They both were not too fond of the shark on the bench.

Jellyfish.

Big Puffer fish!

Logan showing me how big the snake was!

Electric Eel

We had never done the train before so since we are a HUGE fan of trains right now and sharks we did the Shark Train this time.  I was under the impression that we were going to be able to get out and walk and look at the sharks, but must have misunderstood.

Quick shot of Logan with the saw ray behind him.

As we were leaving to head out to eat lunch we stopped by and saw this guy.

Logan thought he was pretty cool!

It was definitely a fun day!! We headed back to the hotel after this for "rest time" for some and a nap for the little man. All in time for us to meet my Aunt, Uncle, Cousin, and Cousin's fiance for dinner! My Aunt was so sweet to invite us over for dinner that night, they had not had a chance to meet Jackson! She had a kids table all set up with little gifts for the boys and even a little stool for the bathroom so they could wash their hands. It was all SO thoughtful! We had a fabulous time visiting, mostly chasing the boys, but the company was priceless!

We got up the next day and headed out! It was a short, full, but wonderful trip!

Much love,

What a helper I have in the making!!
While brother is at school Jackson and I have been getting some awesome quality time together!
He is perfecting his swiffer skills as we speak! :)

Proud of his work...

Serious face... I love this face!!

Thankful for such a sweet, smiley helper!

Razorback Poptart

My mom when they came down for Logan's Birthday brought us some special Razorback poptarts!!
Yes, I realize we have not had the ideal season, but your either a fan or your not and we I'm pretty sure will be fans for LIFE!

So.... GO HOGS!! And the poptarts were good!

Logan's Birthday Morning!!

When the day comes every year; it only has for 3 years now, but still in those 3 years I remember so vividly the day Logan was born. Every detail from the excitement the night before I was induced to getting to the hospital and knowing that we were going to meet our sweet baby boy that day!
It all went so slow at the time, but seems now all too quickly it passed by!
I remember thinking after he was born, "NOW what do I do!?!"
Logan James you have taught me more in these past 3 years than I think I have learned in my entire life. I am a better person because of you.

Your birthday morning french toast breakfast!!
You were not quite awake yet... but I was excited!

Your cousin Mark got your all pepped up though!

Mark even helped you blow out your candles!

Mark actually got to stay the night with us and we had a Cousin Day!! It was fantastic!!
He went to church with us on your birthday and he got to go to your Sunday School class and meet all your friends! Ya'll had a BLAST!! We went puddle jumping after church!

Mark sweetly giving Jackson a hug!

Our other sweet mess of a boy!!

Much love,

Continued 3rd Birthday

Presents from the Grandparents...

Emme and Papa gave Logan his presents on Friday when they got to our house. Emme always has a hard time saving gifts :) Especially when she knows they are going to love them so much.

Logan opening her gift, he is so precise about how he opens gifts.
He also got 5 pairs of pj's from Emme & Papa! Wahoo!! Just what we needed!!

Jackson even got a little something... he is not sure what to do with it though.

A BULLDOZER!!

Dad and Papa getting the truck out.

Testing it out... lights, sounds, moves and has a mute button... Parent approved!

He is a sweet gift!

Jackson excited about his books!

Grandma & Grandpa also gave Logan his presents on Friday evening when they got there.

How do Dinosaurs go to school.
I love you Grandpa.

I appreciated it though Grandma! :)

Jet plane polo... PERFECT for this little man!

As I said before Logan was BEYOND blessed! It was a wonderful lesson in being thankful-- We have been memorizing scripture and talking about being thankful all month.

Happy Birthday Logan James!!
