Thanksgiving with the Bulgers

We hit the road on Wednesday before Thanksgiving afternoon to Arkansas to spend Thanksgiving with Emme, Papa, Aunt Catie & Andrew!

Of course we are at Papa's house so we had to do some "practice" fishing across the pool.

Papa & Logan
Don't they just look like they are causing trouble!

Watching Daddy practice his casting skills on Logan's pole.
He couldn't miss out on the fun.

Catie & Andrew-- 1 year in dating.

Mocking the above (hideous) picture!

Doesn't she look like Emme?!

Jackson was napping-- so a quick snap shot of the 3 of us!

We had a fabulous Thanksgiving Day, JD's parents were able to come and join us for a meal and a little football watching and game planning for after dinner.
Scrabble was the game of choice !

Jackson walking the puppy that was mine when I was little!
He walked that dog around Emme & Papa's house-- had to be 100 times!

Time for the wish bone.

Both boys so proud!!

Logan got to make a wish!

Emme even had some Christmas crafts for them to do.

First time using markers...

It was a wonderful Thanksgiving and really a great reminder of all we have to be thankful for! Glad we got to spend it with family and the ones we love!

Halloween 2012

Halloween was SO much fun this year!
I will say I do not look forward to Halloween like I do other holidays, yes, the dressing up is most definitely the most FUN thing I look forward to, but the images that are around for Halloween are so dark. It bothers me.

With that said, we had a blast trick-or-treating in the neighborhood with friends! We got dressed early and took some pictures in the front yard.

Jackson was a Razorback Fan, looks very similar to his Daddy when he played intramurals.

Logan was a pirate!
Handsome, handsome pirate.

Singing his Yo-ho song.

Sweet boys!

How do you get 2 kids to smile. Put a hat on a silly dancing Daddy. ;)
Oh the things we do for our kids!

Solving a pirate problem of where did the ball go together!

And now he is a heavy weight dude.

2 of the sweetest pirates I know!!
They were Fred & Wilma last year-- pirates this year.

Sword fighting...

Haha... this picture cracks me up!

Alright!!

4 of my favorite kiddos!!!
Love these 4!!
Added 2 new to the picture this year!
Jackson, Logan, Micha, & Tessa

Jackson decided that was enough of the sword fighting, he ran away with it.

But, was caught!

Logan steering his boat!

Added Princess Molly to the group!

Logan and his buddy Drake Trick-or-Treating
Logan did SOOO good! He walked up rang the doorbell said trick or treat and thank you!
I really do love how it teaches them to be thankful, but also personable.

Jackson just wanted to do everything the big kids did. He would walk up to the houses all by himself and get the candy and then try to walk into their house.
Luckily our neighbors are quite friendly and nicely turned him in the right direction!
