2 Months Old

At 2 Months: 

Weight: 11lbs 14oz-- 58%tile

Height: 23inches--56%tile

You are an average boy, my dear! 

You took your shots like a champ and even slept through the night for your first time this day!

You are growing SO fast, but we are loving and enjoying every single moment of you Jackson Paul. 

You eat every 3-4 hours. 

You are sleeping through the night, hopefully not to jinx us by saying this. 

Sleep: 830pm-5:40a then up at 730 with big brother.

Still sleeping in your pack n play in Mom &  Dad's room, but we are preparing for the transition, not sure I'm ready yet.

You don't require a paci to sleep, in fact if we just lay you down swaddled, with your arms out, of course, you drift off to sleep on your own so easily. 

You have been more stuffy this month and so after your 5:40 feeding we have been propping you up on the boppy to sleep. 

You cat nap during the day most of the time, but have started having longer periods of sleep.  One in the morning 930-11, afternoon 230-430, and then a little one late evening 6-7, not consistently, but often enough it seems to be becoming a pattern. 

Your cooing, gooing, and ahhing ALL the time! 

We just love and adore your precious smile, we have yet to hear you laugh-- but we can only imagine how wonderful it is going to be to hear that sound! 

You love to smile back at us and you so easily do! 

You love blowing bubbles & sticking your tongue in and out. 

You have really found your hands this month and enjoy kicking your legs especially in the bath tub. 

Bathtime is your absolute favorite. Talk about a big smile. 

You have the biggest blue eyes! 

Your starting to get your hair in, you look a little bit like an old man with a bald head and long hair in the back. So cute!

Still have those studly chubby cheeks that I just love to kiss on!

Your wearing 3 month clothes and some 6 month clothes of your brothers, I'm pretty sure Mom accidently shrunk those though. 

You had your first long roadtrip this month to Arkansas with Mom & Brother. 

Spent your first night away from Dad with Mom & Brother. 

You love the Baby Bjorn and are in it quite frequently. 

You are SO strong in your legs, neck, & back. You have wonderful head control and LOVE sitting up. 

You very VERY rarely cry, and if you do it's usually because your hungry or tired. 

Such a laid back, easy going boy you are Jackson. Thankful for it! 

Dislike tummy time still. 

We praise the Lord and rejoice in how blessed we are to be your parents. Thankful you are healthy and happy and are such a delightful little man to be around.  Your brother continues to adore you and wants to show you off anywhere we are... he would rather say hi to you when we pick him up from school than to Mom & Dad. There is nothing that brings us more joy than that. You are blessed to have such a loving brother. On the road to 3 months... can't believe how time flies.  We love learning more about your personality everyday and it shines SO bright sweet boy! You have stolen our hearts Jackson Paul.
