A Weekend at the Farm

This past weekend we got to enjoy a nice getaway on Sunday to our neighbors, parents farm!
After church we had the car already packed, picked up some lunch and headed to Athens for an afternoon in the sun and outdoors!
We could do this EVERY weekend!
Thank you Stockhammers for inviting us and sharing such a special place with us!

The boys already reeling in the fish!

Logan scouting out the water while he gets re-baited...

Jackson getting to touch the fish...

Sweet, precious Tessa fishing--
I thought it was adorable Logan and Tessa both had Lightning McQueen fishing poles!
They were made to be buds!

Logan being such a boy and trying to put worms on Tessa...
Already teasing the girls...

Giggling as he gets closer and closer to Tessa with the worm.

Boys fishing.

Tessa did finally get a little crazy and played with the worms for a bit.

Stretching the worm out before she yelled yuck and tossed it somewhere... ha!
We did end up finding it..

We also found some little frogs hopping around the farm and the kids and I got a jar and filled it with them.  They were SO cute!!

JD catching some bass... One happy man right there.

Buds!

These 2 are quite the pair...
Such a sweet picture!

I love it!
So thankful for wonderful neighbors!!

Family frog catching time... lol!

Taking turns holding the jar and then catching the frogs!

Jackson taking some time out to enjoy the hammock!

Family photo op!

So glad we took this pic! Thanks Lora!!
Our sweet family of 4!

We also got to go feed the family horse, P.J.
Such a pretty horse!

And the tricycles! AWESOME!
The kids were POOPED by the end of this afternoon! Between the fishing, catching frogs, playing in the tree-house, riding tricycles, feeding animals, and just playing it was an AWESOME Sunday in God's beautiful creation with sweet friends!

Look forward to doing it again!

Much love,
The Weathers

Pool Time!!

We bought a little outdoor blow up pool for the boys to swim in this summer a few weeks ago! We finally blew it up and the boys had a BLAST!!

Jackson blowing against the raft to make noises!

Logan LOVING the pool!

My 3 boys lounging...

Jackson laughing at the splashing...
While Logan keeps saying.. That's enough Daddy.

Like Father, like son.

My 3 boys!

Sweet baby!

We all LOVE the water so!
It was a nice refreshing dip-- JD rigged it to where he can put warm water in it so we don't have to let it sit outside and warm up. So nice!

I can tell you where we will be most of the summer!!

Much love,
The Weathers

Logan & Grandpa Weathers

Logan & Grandpa Weathers goofed off all weekend!

Jackson's Dedication

May 13, 2012
Jackson Paul Weathers was dedicated.

Before our immediate family, church family, and friends we made the decision to raise Jackson to be a Godly man to teach, lead, and love him as the Lord does us! We are blessed to be apart of such a loving church family and able to raise our children in a place where they start teaching kids about Jesus at such a young age, also for our immediate family who supports us and will help us to raise our children this way as well.
Mother's Day has always held a special place in my heart and now even more so because 2 years ago we dedicated Logan as well-- such a special and sweet time and tradition.

"Jackson has been nothing but a blessing and JOY to our family"
Our statement about J for Brother David to read in front of the church.

The children's ministry gave Jackson his own New Testament Bible, his picture was in the bulletin and they gave us a letter to give to him when he accepts Jesus into his heart. What a precious day that will be!

Aunt Catie with Jackson after dedication.

All our family that was able to make it in!
Grandma & Grandpa Weathers, Aunt Catie & Andrew!
We missed everyone else, but know you were there with us!

I was showered with cards and gifts for Mother's Day as well! Beyond blessed and so thankful!

Much love,
The Weathers

Handy Logan...

Logan's favorite thing to do on the weekend is help his Daddy work on projects!
This past weekend JD made Logan a paddle for when they go in the "canoe-boat" he will be able to use it and help him paddle. Logan worked hard at drilling a hole in the paddle to connect the end of the paddle.

Recent Logan sayings:

*Mom/Dad: What should we do?
Logan: "Mom/Dad, I have an idea.
Mom/Dad: What's that, Logan?
Logan: Let's use a bug net.
->this statement is said about anything we say what should we do.

*Singing:
The itsy-bitsy spider went up water spout.
Down came rain, washed spider out.
Down came sun, dried up all rain
itsy bitsy spider went up the spout again.

When any sport comes on tv.
"Go Rangers, kick the ball, shoot it, GOOAALL!! "
--Obviously need to teach some specifics on which sport is which.

I will add more when I think of them. Just wanted to start somewhere recording funny things.

Gifts from Hawaii... Aloha!

Aunt Catie came in for Jackson's Dedication this past weekend and for Mother's Day.
With her she brought gifts for the boys!

Logan was SO excited about his fish shirt. He was looking at all the fish and asking what each of their names were.. not the easiest names for a toddler to learn, but we can work on it :)
Logan did not want to take his fish t-shirt off!

Aunt Catie & Logan...
Logan adores his Aunt Catie..

Jackson even got a little shirt!

Haha... couldn't agree more my little man!

Jackson and Aunt Catie!

Thank you Aunt Catie & Andrew for the sweet gifts! We have worn the shirts a number of times already and the boys love them!!

Much love,
The Weathers
