Coconuts

Yesterday we received quite the interesting package!
A COCONUT!

The boys were so excited about the coconut that Aunt Catie & Andrew sent in the mail all the way from Hawaii!! It was such a cute idea!! They had post marked everything right on the coconut and written the boys a little message and drew a picture of a car on the beach and fish and sharks in the ocean! They just thought it was too cool!
Logan has been carrying it around everywhere going.."There something in it..."
Anyone know how to crack a coconut?!?

The boys before church this morning with their coconut!

Logan looking at the picture!

Shaking it!

Thank you Aunt Catie & Andrew for thinking of the boys!!!
Aloha!!

Much love,

YEEE-HAW!!!

Logan really wanted to pull Jackson on his rocking horse yesterday so we saddled him up and off he went!
Poor horse lost some hair on this ride... Jackson got a little nervous while brother was "guiding" him.  Logan just couldn't get the horse going fast enough!

Giddy Up, Cowboy!

Clubhouse & Sprinklers

On Friday I made the boys a little "clubhouse" to attach to their tent and crawl through.  They just thought it was so neat! I remember those days of having forts & "clubhouses" made out of old refrigerator boxes! Those were the days... and absolutely the BEST hiding places!
Let's just say I don't know WHY we even BUY toys... cardboard boxes have so much more to offer!!
I mean really.. it costs nothing, you can color it, put stickers on it, break it, cut it, hit it, get it wet, put holes in it, spill something on it, roll it, it becomes anything; rocket, car, house, clubhouse, tent, and IT DOESN'T MATTER.
It just blows me away sometimes at how simple it is...

What a fun Friday afternoon though!

That afternoon we also hit up the sprinklers.  We saw them at our neighborhood park on and Logan just couldn't resist and it was too much fun watching him, so we continued the fun at home in the front yard.

Hitting his first sprinkler!

Brother, Look I'm wet!!

Ready, Set, Go!!!

Logan still runs belly first just like when he was little!!

Fun was had!! :)

Much love,
The Weathers

Sweet boys

I just love pictures by windows... although mine could use a GOOD cleaning.

Just a favorite scene of mine, so I took advantage the other day while the boys were playing in Logan's room.

One of Jackson's favorite cruising places.

Look at that stance.. haha!

Reaching for his brother.

Sweet Logan!

Grandma & Grandpa Weathers Come...

This past weekend I went on " AWOL- A Weekend of Leisure" with our church's women's ministry. It was absolutely a blast and I'm so thankful I was able to go! We got to Frisco on Friday afternoon and checked into the hotel and then headed to the spa for dinner & pedicures! After being pampered we were free to do whatever we wanted which resulted in a small shopping trip and then back to the hotel to visit until WAY to late ;) I'm so thankful for such wonderful ladies in my life!!
Saturday was make our way back to Tyler and we stopped at the Allen Outlet Mall for most of the morning and shopped till we dropped! It was SO much fun and I got some really cute things for a really good price!
We got home around 430p and I was so happy to see my boys!

While I was away JD's parents came to stay with us and help him out while I was gone! The boys were thrilled to have their grandparents here and had a BLAST! I'm pretty sure this last week was the first week in a long time that Logan took naps! Monday was a rough day of getting back into our routine and only having Momma around! Always tough when you have multiple hands and then they are gone!
Since I was only home Saturday evening I only got a few pictures of the boys and Grandma & Grandpa Weathers! Hopefully they will be back soon though!

On Saturday evening we cooked burgers out and sat outside in the nice weather and enjoyed our wonderful company! :)

Sweet, Sweet moments for our boys!

Much love,
The Weathers

Brotherly Fun

We may have our moments every now and then when the boys aren't playing well together, but for the most part they do AWESOME and it is such a joy to watch!

Logan is pretty serious about his trains and does such a wonderful job sharing them with his little brother, who in turn is very serious about eating them.
Logan also does an excellent job of describing and telling Jackson about what the trains are doing and which train is which. You can tell Jackson tries to pay close attention! Ha!

Another moment I just LOVE to watch is when all 3 of my boys are playing together!

They build towers, race cars, and wrestle ALL the time! I just love watching that bond that grows stronger everyday! How blessed they are to have a Daddy that cares that much for them and takes the time to invest!

Lots of laughter in these moments!

Fun in the Sand

We are just LOVING the sandbox Daddy built!!
It had rained a little bit last week and the sand was in prime sand castle building form!
Logan's request was to build a sea turtle in the sand.

Daddy and Logan got to it!

Didn't you know you needed to hammer the sand in place!?!

Ta-Da! Finished product with one proud little boy!
