Singapore Zoo with Grandma!

One of the places the boys were looking forward to taking Grandma to the most was the Singapore Zoo! We have by far one of the BEST zoo's we have ever been to. We headed out early on Christmas Eve when Daddy had off.

The boys watching the otters.

They love this exhibit because the otters are always so active in the morning. It's almost like they are trying to put on a show for you.

We found the wild boars to be a bit stinky to say the least.

Daddy, J, & Grandma!
How we LOVED having Grandma with us to explore!

Logan showing how big he is compared to the Pygmy Hippo

Comparing themselves to the size of the baby and Momma hippo.

In looking forward to our Australian outback adventure coming up soon!

Boys playing in the jeep.

Tree Kangaroo with her baby.

J just relaxing on Daddy.

L taking a break with Grandma grabbing a snack!

Taking a ride on the stone elephants.

At the Seal show...

Grandma & J enjoying their popcorn during the show.

One of the new features at the Singapore Zoo is the Orangutan open range exhibit. There is a space in the middle of the zoo where the zoo keepers feed the orangutans and you can get up close and personal with them. Jackson LOVES monkeys!

Getting a peek at the zoo keepers feeding the monkeys.

This Momma climbed all the way down with twins.

Grandma & her 3 boys getting in on a photo op.
Logan was a little nervous about the big monkeys.

Taking a ride on the sea lions.

The boys favorite thing about most places we go is the map we get.  Nothing says adventure like having your own map and planning out the way to go! One of our favorite things to keep around the house as well for a good "treasure hunt" some days! :)

CHEESE on a turtle.

In the Fragile Forest. This is absolutely one of our favorite places in the zoo. It's a caged in area that has all kinds of different wild animals wandering around.  This lemur was so close! They also have sloths, bats, ducks, various different birds, stingrays (polka dotted), butterflies, and mouse deer.

There is a balcony in the middle where the zookeepers have placed fruit on branches for the bats and sloth to eat. You get an up close look at these neat animals.

Watching the sloth and bats eat.

Praise the Lord for the tram. For this preggo lady I was sure happy to get off my feet and get to ride around the zoo at the end!

So thankful for such a sweet MIL and the time she took to come and see Singapore and us!

Watching the polar bear get fed.

This was so neat to see. They threw meat into the tank and the polar bear swam down to find all the pieces. We got a great up close view of this HUGE animal!

We had a wonderful time at the zoo and explored every exhibit we could! :)
