Daddy Zoo Day

Logan has now FINALLY figured out the reason we come to the zoo... to SEE the ANIMALS! For a very long time Logan just LOVED watching the other people at the zoo.  He just recently started seeing all the animals! On Saturday morning we decided to take Daddy with us so he could enjoy a day at the zoo with us! I think Logan loved having his Daddy with him, we always have fun together!

Since we got to the zoo right around the time it opened all the animals were up and around! It was awesome!
We watched the white tigers for a while. Logan was really interested in them since they came so close to the window.

Pointing at the monkeys! He loves to point at things saying "that?"

Daddy showing Logan what were suppose to do when we see deer.... "pow, pow"

Feeding the ducks with mom.... He loves ducks... and their food! He thought it was people food.  I mean the ducks like it, so why wouldn't I?!

Tossin the food...

Watching the ducks attack each other while going after the food.
Not the best lesson in sharing, but entertainment nonetheless..

They have a little childrens petting zoo there,  Logan wasn't really sure what to think of the goats.

He patted a few...

Got chased by a few...

Stared and gawked at a few.... I had to blow this picture up a little more.  It was priceless the look on his face at this goat. I think his chin was dropped for at least 2 minutes just staring at the goat..

This goat was stretching out and clawing at a piece of wood... the boys curiosity got the best of them and they had to go check it out. I guess these were the biters because they told us not to let him near those goats.

Baby anteater... So cute...
It rides on it's Mother's back..

Logan in front the the giraffes...

Can't see them very well, but he was watching the fish swim..

This is not my favorite place at the zoo, but Logan absolutely LOVES it so we always go.
It's the Walk-about Bird House.  The birds are free and flying (more like dive bombing) and you can get sticks of food and the birds will come sit on you and eat it.  Logan always tries to catch the birds so they don't always like to come eat from our sticks... which I'm not sad about.

Daddy helping Logan feed the birds.  He was pointing at all of them and squealing!

Again reaching for the birds... poor birds!

He was amazed when they sat on Dad's hand and he could feed them.

We had so much fun at the zoo.  These are the memories that I LOVE most... family outings and new discoveries for Logan.  He is such a curious little boy and I love how his mind works! I am blessed with a beautiful and loving family and I am so thankful! Looking forward to all the adventures ahead!

Much love

JD & Mar
