FINALLY a day outside...
The weather has been so dreary, cold, and just all around not nice.
We finally had a nice warm day to spend the afternoon outside!!
We have been challenged with the cast as well, so I am thankful for the dreary days somewhat, but I know my big boy has been itching to get outside and get dirty.
Today was the day for it... we put on one of JD's big long hunting socks and let him have at it.
Logan helping JD flatten out the ground for a sandbox were putting in!
Logan just loved getting his tools out and helping Dad.
Jackson's first time to swing!!
Jackson LOVED the swing!! It was so nice even he went out and enjoyed it!
We tried eating the swing as well...
Daredevil little man... no worries he made it no farther than this and was set back down on the ground.
Funny face by Jackson..
What a beautiful Sunday though to enjoy the outdoors as a family!!
**And I'm caught up on blogging... it's AMAZING!!!!!***
Much love,
The Weathers
Little bowtie man...
A friend of mine at my baby shower for Jackson made this for him!
It is absolutely adorable and I'm so excited he finally fits in it!
Thank you Jill for this adorable outfit!!
Makes my little man seem like such a handsome boy!
Much love,

Sweet, Sweet Brothers
This past week I was thinking about how I have not been good about taking pictures of the boys together recently. So we took care of that ....
Typical brothers.
And how the conversation went..
Look Mom the giraffe is on brothers head..
Logan take the giraffe off your brothers head...
but, he wants it there...
How do you know that...
He told me he did...
Ha!
My sweet boys, who I thank the Lord for blessing us with every single day.
Thank you Lord for every moment we get to spend with these 2 precious boys.
We love you Jackson & Logan.
Brotherly love...
again...
and some more...
After being readjusted and told to be sweet to each other...
Boy feet... & a cast
So sweet..
Just love it...
Much love,

Thomas the Train cast
Well, this past Thursday we traded in the Lighting McQueen cast for a Thomas the train one.
Logan handled everything like a CHAMP and remembers the ice cream he got afterwards to prove it.
They had some headphones for him to wear so he wouldn't be able to hear the saw. Mom & Dad had to put them on first though to show him they were ok.
I know he looks scared in this picture, but he really had just been laughing because it was tickling him so bad. Our child has to be the most ticklish child I know. And yes, I was standing there with my phone snapping pictures... I want to show him one day how BRAVE he was!
After getting the cast off...
If your wondering also we saved the cast and took it home for a souvenir...
And I did wash his leg after everyone left the room.
Proud of the cast..
After they took the cast off they went and took xrays of his leg. The PA came in and talked to us about the xrays. ALL GOOD NEWS! Praise the Lord!! Logan has had so much new bone growth around the fracture that he only has to wear his new cast for 3 weeks! Feb. 10th-- no worries it's put on the calendar..we will have a new leg!! His new cast is also lighter and thinner than the last one which is a blessing for multiple reasons, my child weighed 3lbs heavier with the other on--which is easier for him and me!!
His new Thomas the train cast!
Here's to 3 more weeks big boy! I know we can do it!
Much love,
The Weathers
the in between....
I always have a few random pictures that are usually taken with my phone...
But, I don't want to forget them!
Aunt Catie sent us a video to watch of her for her work... and we did, watch it that is, over, and over, and over, and over, and over until we finally started asking to go to Aunt Catie's house.. over and over and over and over again. So please Aunt Catie, just do us a favor and COME SEE US!
We had a movie watching playdate one day at my friend Taylor's house. It was a house full of 2 year olds and newborns... so much fun.
Emme & Papa went to St. Thomas for Christmas and brought the boys t-shirts back...
Here is an outfit Emme got Logan... for some reason he gave me this cheese face.
The twins... ha!
Jackson and Eden hanging out while their brother and sister played!
They could be twins though!
Jackson learning to stand!
We watched one of our friends little girls, Emory, one evening and Logan became a little protective of her. He had to read her stories, get her toys, and for the next week all he wanted to do is visit Emory's house.
He would even go over to her and give her a side hug then pat her back and say, "Hi, sweet girl!"-- melt my heart.
Logan all dressed up for church. This was the first time in about 2 weeks he had worn normal clothes. they actually fit over his cast! Handsome boy!
We also got together one night with our sweet neighbors and did a campout with smores in the living room! Since Logan had gotten his tent we had wanted to do this with the kids! It was so much fun!! Btw smores in the microwave are just as good as over the fire.
Much love,
The Weathers
Rice cereal, sitting up and Mom
For about the last 3 weeks Jackson has really taken to staring, drooling, reaching, and even whining for our food. His sleeping through the night has even taking a step back so we decided we would just see how he liked rice cereal.
Not sure at first...
But, didn't take long... this little man may be my independent fella...
I thought he was going to eat the spoon as well, but he just wanted to make sure he got every bit of it.
"What?!? Too much?!"
To say the least we have started doing rice cereal once or twice a day... depends on the day ha! :)
But, he absolutely loves it and it has made our schedule (feeding schedule that is) a little easier and sleep better :)
The sweetest thing of all though is Logan, with everything new that Jackson learns he just cheers his little brother on and makes it like it's the bets thing in the world! What an encourager he has for a big brother.
Another first for Jackson is sitting up!!
Our big boy has started wanting to sit up on his own... I'm still nervous about it, but with the boppy behind him he does awesome and is SO happy about it!
Working on his ab muscles as well!
One Friday afternoon we went and ran a bunch of errands, when we got home JD decided to take a few pictures of me and the little man...
Sweet rolly boy!!
So proud of you little man!! You'll be playing with your brother before we know it!
Much love,
The Weathers
