Polar Express

The Wednesday before Christmas, December 21st we drove to the Texas State Railroad in Palestine.  This Railroad system is the Official Railroad for Texas. To find out more info on it http://www.texasstaterr.com/. They host numerous fun train ride adventures, one being the Polar Express! We went with some dear friends of ours, the Gentry's and rode the train all the way to the North Pole ;) to pick up Santa of course! We had the kids all dressed in their pjs and we were ready to hear the Polar Express story and drink our hot chocolate. It was a wonderful experience and hopefully a tradition!

Our family of 4 before the train ride.

Macy & Logan before the ride!

My boys!
I decided to make the boys pjs for the train ride and I thought they turned out cute!

Logan enjoying watching the tracks go by.

Logan and Macy ready to hand their tickets to the conductor.

Handing his ticket to the conductor.
This was by far one of his favorite parts.
He now has the phrase, "Tickets, please" memorized and loves when playing trains to repeat it.

Me and my boys!
Not the best pic, but sometimes you just take what you can get! ha!

The Gentry's checkin out the North Pole.

Logan looking for Santa to climb aboard at the North Pole.

The kids dancing down the aisles of the car while we sang traditional Christmas songs!
As you can see we got to spend the train ride with Miss. Tessa as well!!!
Talk about a special treat!

Logan and his "girls" :)

You think this is cute you should see the video! :)

Macy checking out Santa.

Santa hopped on board at the North Pole and rode it all the way back with us.

Logan again not a fan this year.
Santa did hand out little silver bells for the kids to ring.
The silver bells being "the first Christmas gift" in the Polar Express book.

Explaining the silver bell to Logan.

Logan wasn't up for modeling his cute pjs, but my little man J was!

And end with a big smile!

Fun was had by all on this trip! Definitely a do again!

Logan enjoyed the train ride SO much and especially since you were tied to your seat the whole time either! We had hot chocolate and snickerdoodle cookies.  Let's just say we all got a good night sleep that night!

Merry Christmas!

Much love,
The Weathers
