Indian Pass Boating

Last year our dear friends the Uptons came to the beach with us and we decided to take a boat out into the bay and snorkel, fish, and that sorta stuff. Well the boat we got wasn't the fastest most efficient one we have ever been on. Pretty sure I could have been swimming next to the boat and been going as fast... HA! Not really... but it was pretty slow. So this year we decided to try it again-- Little better-- but, hopefully 3rd time will be a charm next year.

Everyone riding on the boat!

Catching some trout

This was the COOLEST thing ever we saw. There was a huge school of dolphins feeding in the area and they were EVERYWHERE.  This one dolphin kept jumping out of the water and it was amazing!! JD got a somewhat far away picture, but seriously one of the neatest things!

Helping Papa reel in a BIG one

Wahoo!

My big boy is becoming quite the fisherman!
Our whole purpose of going out was to try scalloping... we have a few things we would like to remember next time.  Cover shoes, gloves, and nets. We did see LOTS of awesome sea creatures though: baby starfish, horseshoe crab, sea urchins, crabs, fish, stingrays, dolphins, and a few others.

Can't wait for next year!
Much love,
The Weathers
