El Dorado Christmas

After opening presents all morning and sharing breakfast together we loaded everything up and headed home for the evening before waking up and heading to El Dorado, AR the next day.

This kiddo was in mid-bite and just passed out. You can tell how much fun he had that morning.

One of the days in El Dorado we went to the Arkansas Museum of Natural Resources-- known to the locals as the Oil and Brime Museum. We needed to let the kids run around and get some energy out! This was the perfect way and place to do it!

They had an illusion room with lots of mirrors and such. Jackson loved this.
Family photo op. Ha!

Right where they belong... jk
Did keep them contain for a moment though! :)

Already showing them the inner workings of the oil field.
Logan was learning how the oil pumps work.

Jackson- the lone man waiting for the show to begin.  He loved the waiting for it to start part, it was the when the show began he didn't want in there any more.

Grandma and Logan doing some of the activities.

Is that a young Uncle Joe? Oh wait, Jackson decided to steal his comfy seat for a while!

El Dorado Christmas, Dirty Santa gift exchange.
This was such a fun idea! I got an helium balloon that is remote control in the shape of a Nemo fish for Logan and JD got a Razorback cup with a gc for Sonic in it. I think he has used that cup everyday since.

Logan and the J Doyle's fish tank.
This was a big hit with the boys! Uncle Joe let them help feed the fish and clean the tank.
He was pretty proud!

Thank you Joe & Jane for opening your home to us! Your hospitality as always was delightful and we couldn't have imagined it any other way! Thank you!

Much love,
The Weathers
