A little background into the Thow Kang kiln and the other kiln that exists in Singapore.
These kilns are in danger of being destroyed as businesses want to take over the land.
We went to the Thow Kang Kiln-- aka the Dragon kiln.
Here is also a YouTube that I found really neat:
Our friend Angie (who is an expert at exploring Singapore) & our friend Evelyn came with us on this trip!
Thow Kang Pottery Jungle History.
Inside the Dragon Kiln
Lots of the pots made here.
The next firing of the Dragon kiln will actually be on Logan's birthday!
Shows the inside of some of the pots as they are fired.
Martha Stewart actually came to the Dragon Kiln.
Boys entertaining themselves, not the most kid friendly place, but they did AWESOME! There was a lot to look at and Mom may have brought some special snacks for them as well!
Mrs. Angie & Logan going into the kiln.
Logan loved having Ms. Jenna's flashflight with him.
The Pyrometer shows when the kiln gets too hot or is not hot enough. The second to last one on the right shows the perfect temperature.
So many wonderful pieces.
I loved this piece.
My be a later purchase!
We also saw a friend while we were there!
This wild monkey came to join us, he seemed hurt though as he was limping on one leg.
LOVED this place! Although I didn't buy anything this time, I will be back again!
