Most people who are not Singaporeans leave Singapore during certain holidays. National Day is one of them. Many of them like to take advantage of the 4 day weekend for traveling, which is true for us, but this weekend we decided to stay and see what Singapore's National Day was all about.
Everywhere had decorations for National Day.
National Day is similar to 4th of July in US.
These were our condo's decorations.
We had had a LONG day and really needed to work on birthday stuff so we decided to stay home and watch the parade and festivities on TV. Which was an awesome idea!

The Live performances were explaining Singapore's history and telling of all the different cultures that make up Singapore. It was neat to watch.
