Our party planning started off pretty much the second week Jenna was here. She is an awesome party planner/decorator/woman of many talents!! :) we always have fun doing this type of thing as well so we decided to do a joint birthday this year for the boys since she would be here and could help me a little with ideas and execution as well as join in the celebration!! :)
We have been SO immensely blessed with sweet beginning relationships here in Singapore and we we are so thankful that those friends were able to join our family in celebrating our boys!!
Beginning of our traditional birthday cookies!
Sticking with our shark theme this year I ordered two shark cookie cutters from an etsy store and they worked awesome!!
And then as every baking task I have had in Singapore, my first batch baking turns out excellent making me so excited that I can cook some of our favorite things. Then, all other succeeding batches are FAIL!! Whether it be the humidity... Maybe I did something different.. Turned my spoon one too many times to the left and not to the right... I cannot figure it out. All that to say.. Second batch of cream cheese sugar cookies... EPIC FAIL!!

And then there is the cake!!!
This was awesome and turned out SO awesome!! We took two 8x8 rounds and used one for the face and cut the other ones to make the fins and nose. We also tried our hands at marshmellow fondant. If you need an easy, yummy, AWESOME fondant recipe this is seriously the best!! We used it for the decor around the shark and eyes and mouth.
Besides the conversions..grams is a killer for some reason, all went well!

JD grilled out chicken breast (DELICIOUS!!), brats (also DELICIOUS because it wasn't made of chicken like the hot dogs are here),and chicken wings.
Lets just say the hubs mastered this grill!

I will say finding party stuff in Singapore for a reasonable price is not an easy task!
We did get a few adventures out of it though such as Chinatown and mustafas in little India late one night!

This gift was SO special!! He got 2 ninja turtles! These were one of their sons favorite action figures! These characters are actually making a comeback right now for kids! Need to catch the boys up on these cool dudes! He loved them though!

To say it was a great birthday party would be an understatement! We thoroughly enjoyed every moment with sweet friends and most of all celebrating the lives of the precious gifts The Lord blessed us with! I cannot believe 2 years has already gone by and more than that 4 YEARS since the priceless day our precious boys came into our lives!! We rejoice and praise The Lord for this privilege to be their parents.
We love you Jackson Paul and Logan James!!
You are fearfully and wonderfully made in His image, may you never forget it!
