Easter Vacation-- Day 1 & Part of Day 2

This year we decided to make a trip back to Fayetteville, AR for Easter.  It was a FABULOUS trip and SO worth it! We left Wed. evening after JD drove in from Houston after working there for 2 days.  Even though we had MOPS that morning and I kept little man up until we were leaving he still refused to take a FULL nap-- we got about 15 minutes out of him.  Needless to say it was a LONG drive there and we were not quite our sweet little self when we got to Grandma & Grandpa Weathers! I also had the bright idea of letting him try my orange cream slush from Sonic right before we got to Grandma & Grandpas which led to a little upset stomach.  All that to say we were happy to get to our destination and had a wonderful nights sleep! :)

Day 1:

Lots of play time with Grandma-- puzzles, books, walks, outdoor fun!

Logan kept wanting his Grandma to slide him down the hill...

Let's just say Grandma got a work out!

Then they found it more fun to jog down it! :)

All time favorite pic.

He loves his Daddy... How grateful we were he got to take some time off to spend it with us!

Picked some flowers for Grandma...

Gave them to her!

Logan has an eye for things... he found this little tractor his Daddy used to ride when he was little in Ma-Bo's shed.

To say the least, it's a favorite!

Daddy got his work out pushing little man all around too.

Grandpa even took half the day off to come play!!
We got to visit him at work, each lunch, AND go fishing with him!
Thanks Grandpa for doing that!!

Grandpa & Dad had a blast teaching Logan how to have fun on Grandma's furniture.

Don't think he is having fun at all ;)

Logan & Ma-Bo after bathtime.

Day 2:

The next morning we woke up and Grandma had all sorts of activities for Logan to do! We made Resurrection Rolls along with breakfast! I can't wait till Logan will comprehend the story of Jesus and the true story/meaning of Easter.

I think he enjoyed eating the marshmallows more than putting them in the crescent rolls.

Grandma telling Logan the instructions.

Ugh... my hand is dirty!!

Logan helped me make pancakes for breakfast too.... Yes, I feel very brave posting this picture... No make-up literally rolled out of bed.. He was such a good helper though!

More to come!!

Much love,
The Weathers
