20 Months

I cannot believe our baby is almost 2 years old--- or at least that's how I describe little man when someone asks how old he is. Once you get out of the teens of months it just seems weird to call him 20 months old! Every month this boy shows us a little more of his personality, what a JOY he is to us!! This is the only picture I got of the little man today, unfortunately we had quite a busy day, but that smile-- melts my heart every day!
*Weighs: 27lbs-- we had a sick appt last week for a double ear infection so we got to weigh him, poor baby!
*Clothes: 24 months and growing
*Shoes: 7-8 and growing; some of the shoes we got him to last all summer I'm not sure they are going to last through the next month!!
*Size 4 diapers; really becoming interested in the potty although we haven't had a successful potty time yet!
*Favorite foods this month: Bagels (cinnamon raisin or blueberry); blueberries; cucumbers; sweet potatoes (always been a favorite); fruit snacks, granola, cereal and yogurt
*Had his first day trip away from Mom and Dad with Emme & Granddad
*Learning our colors: consistent with purple, blue, red, & occasionally yellow
*Loves trucks
*Were learning to be a little more independent, taking off and putting our shoes on, taking off and putting on clothes, putting away toys, walking next to shopping cart (thank you Daddy for that one..)
*Love being chased... until it's when Mommy really needs him to do something or not do something
*Loves music--- he has become a dancing MACHINE
*Loves pictures
*Favorite phrases: Whoa!, Wow!, Big!!, What's that?, Whose that?, What's this?
*Regressed on vocabulary-- still LOVES to jabber.. and does it ALL the TIME. Just hard understanding what he means. Hope he starts to pick up words again.
We just adore our little man & the time we get to spend and invest in his life. I am thankful for such a passionate, energetic, loving little boy! May the Lord continue to bless him and fill his heart with a desire for Him! We love you Bub!!
