For a long time now we have been wanting to get our backyard in shape. The beautiful weather has drawn us outside pretty much everyday since beginning of March (give or take a few bad weather days in there.) But, I have a hard time letting Logan go out back and play by himself with the dogs and I would love, Love, LOVE to be able to have friends over with their kids and let them play out back. So, we started our backyard reconstruction process.... trust me people it's a process.....
The beginning...
We installed a kennel for the dogs so they can be locked up when kiddos are outside or if we decide to eat outside that night as well.
Also, put in the stepping stones and a flower bed (in progress) to spruce up this side of the backyard.
I made new chair covers for the outside chairs and we purchased some hanging plants to bring a little color.
My favorite purchase and my favorite Mother's Day gift was the hummingbird feeder. Logan and I have such a sweet time during our morning eating breakfast by this window. JD set it all up for us and we now get to enjoy 4 little hummingbirds every morning and throughout the day.
To give you a glimpse of what we see every morning JD also took some AWESOME pictures of our birds!!
Logan looks forward to seeing them every morning!! So, thank you Daddy for the wonderful gift!
