23 Months

Our big boy turned 23 months today!! 

I can't believe how much he has grown in his vocabulary & personality since last month! 

I was so worried with Jackson coming that he would regress and tantrums would come full force, but he has really done the complete opposite & we are SO PROUD of this little man! 

He sure knows how to brighten my day and is SO thoughtful! 

At 23 Months:

As you can see is quite the character... he LOVES cheesing it up for the camera. 

Weight: Approx. 30 lbs 

Height: Approx. 37-38 inches 

Diapers: Size 4

Potty Training: He is extremely interested in the potty and has successfully peed and pooped in the potty numerous times.  He is able to tell us when he has to go and about 90% of the time actually goes when he gets on there. He does love to flush the toilet and that other 10% is just so he can do that.  I am thinking we will get serious about the potty after he turns 2. 

Vocabulary: sky rocketing!! He is repeating EVERYTHING and is such a sponge right now.  I am loving this stage of learning!! 

Shoe: 8.5

Clothes: 2T-3T, some 24 Months

Favorite Foods: Fish sticks, Mac n Cheese (the shapes box), any fruit, sweet potatoes, squash, pretzels, OJ, and thank you to Emme and Papa, donuts. 

Loves being outside... unfortunately it has just been WAY to hot to fully enjoy that. 

Sleeping: 8pm-730a

Naps: 1 time-- 3-4hours

Favorite Lovey: Monkey, Turtle & Lizard 

Favorite Show: Dinosaur Train & Cat in the Hat

Goes to school once a week; will start twice a week in the Fall

Experienced his first bounce house this month

First time away from both Mom & Dad at the same time

Has learned the word "No" & "Me" and uses them quite frequently--working on this.

LOVES trucks, planes, cars.. pretty much any vehicle, especially books about these things!

He is such a ham these days! 

Hopefully once little brother gets a little bigger & stronger immune system we will venture out to take some good pics! 

Also, our big camera lens went out this past week so I'm using our little camera.

You are such a sweet, handsome, fun loving little man! Every month you surprise us with something new & we cannot imagine life without you! Your laugh and smile brighten our days and just this month you have really started to latch on to your Daddy & I just love watching the two of you interact! I can't believe this next month you will be 2!!!! We look forward to the little man you are becoming and for what the next year holds! You are already such a wonderful big brother to Jackson, he is SO lucky to have such a fine example as you!
