Siloso Beach

Another perk to living on this side of the island is being so close to Sentosa island. Sentosa has universal studios, a water park, aquarium, sky diving center, and our favorite the beaches. While doing VBS I met the sweetest friend, Corrie. Corrie was one of the Bible teachers and during VBS her son was in Logan's class.. They are 10 days apart in age and her girls are the most kind and fabulous babysitters! They are so easy to be around and most of all FUN to be around! They are always up for an adventure and are full of advice for this new expat! I am so thankful for this new friendship!!

We have been making a weekly beach visit since we met! Best idea ever! It is only a walk (10 minutes) to Vivo city to get on the tram to go straight to the beach. The tram is only $4 round trip and takes you straight to the beach. We now have the year cable car passes and thankfully tram is included in those! There is also the option of walking to Sentosa which we haven't tried yet, but its only a dollar,

We have been camping out at Siloso beach each time except once and it's perfect and free. we bring packed lunches and the kids (and adults) love the sand and water and it keeps them busy!! We are beach bums for sure now!

Jackson, Logan, and Andrew playing in the sand.
They play so well together.

Another friend has started making our weekly trips with us as well! Im loving all these new, fabulous friendships!! Corrie met Sarah at IKEA one day... I love this story of how they met... Sarah's oldest son Luke (who is the boy in the middle of the picture, he is almost 5) was wearing a Cowboys jersey in IKeA and Corrie told her they were Cowboys fans as well and they exchanged numbers. Short version, but im so thankful for that opprotunity Corrie had and took to get to know Sarah. We have all gotten to be wonderful friends and we are loving the time spent together with our families.
