Departure & ARRIVAL

Our sweet friend Brad dropped us off at the airport around noon.
Yes, yes we packed ALOT.

I will say there is a few things I would do differently if we were to do this again.
It was quite the adventure getting all this on the elevator and checking in, but we DID IT!
An FYI the weight limit for checked luggage, even for international flights is 50lbs, not 70lbs.

The boys doing what they looked SO forward to doing-- watching the airplanes!

Emme & Jackson watching the planes.

Boys hanging out together. They made some friends while we were waiting.

The boys and I waiting in Dallas for our Houston flight.
After a 2 hour flight delay we made it to Houston in time to RUSH and get to our international flight.
This did lead to our boys first Tram ride, which they thoroughly enjoyed!

Singapore Air was nothing SHORT of WONDERFUL!! They were so helpful carrying our stuff, helping with the kids, showing us where to go and making sure we were comfortable. I was a little worried about being in coach with the kids, but I can say that it was not bad. I mean not to say a little more room would have been nice for sleeping purposes, but it worked out fine!

We each had our own personal TVS.

Emme, Logan, & JD.
The sweet stewardess gave Logan his own sketch book, Shrek pouch, and colors for the trip.

There were a few open seats on the first flight and so Jackson and I got our row to ourselves which meant he had a seat for his carseat and a seat for himself.
We started out with the tablet while we were getting ready to take off.

Jackson and I in our seats! Ready to go.

Our menu for the flight.

The food was very good!
Best part they had snacks-- fabulous snacks the whole way there.

Jackson watching a movie after we took off.
Another FYI carseat = AWESOME idea.
They had some great kids shows and movies!

Loving his movie!

Emme talking to Papa before we took off.

Discovering all the gadgets with Emme.

ARRIVED IN MOSCOW after 9+ hours.

Indulging in some... breakfast... lunch?! -- a snack.

Waiting in the Moscow airport for the lines to go down for us to go through customs.
All smiles here!!

Moscow - Singapore-- 10+ hours!

Started with some sleeping.
The boys slept about 5-6 hours each leg of the trip! There was maybe 10 minutes TOTAL of fussing from Jackson the WHOLE trip. Learned very quickly that trying to get him to sleep in his carseat, not a good idea.

The second leg JD & I switched places and I sat with Logan.

Before we landed. Some bed head and smiles for being there!
We had some weather come up at the end of the flight so it put off us landing and taking a long way to get there.

Logan in the Singapore airport as we go to Immigration.
Still all smiles!
Thank you everyone for your prayers, I cannot tell you all how much they were heard, felt, and appreciated!!

Ready to face our first day in Singapore!
Arrived at 6am...
Must say if we do this flight again might try to get on a flight that arrives in the evening for sleeping purposes.

The Weathers Family ready to start a new chapter!
